New Online Learning Resources
Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know about a couple of resources for art activities that are alternatives to the lessons on the art page.
There is an online Drawing Challenge on Art Hub for Kids on YouTube. This is a good resource for kids with learning how to draw videos. If you participate in this, it counts for an art assignment. Here is the link for the video: https://safeyoutube.net/w/CM0F
Please share a photo of your drawing with me on Schoology if you participate. Have fun.
Also, the Carle Museum is offering an “Art in Place” virtual exhibit. The artist/author, Eric Carle (The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Grouchy Ladybug, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? etc.) is the featured artist at the museum. However, the museum, on May 26, is presenting an exhibition of more than 20 of today’s leading picture book artists, including Mo Willems, Sandra Boynton and many more. This is the first digital exhibition that the Museum has organized. The link for the website is www.carlemuseum.org. If you “attend” this exhibition it will count for an art assignment. Please let me know what you think after you have visited the exhibition.
