My name is Jennifer Careatti and I am so excited for the school year ahead. I earned my college degree
at the University of Delaware. This is my 21st year teaching at Griebling Elementary School.
I started my career teaching In-Class Resource in grades 3-5.
Later in that year I was transferred to the Kindergarten class where I taught
for the remainder of the year. My second year of teaching I was
moved to first grade, which I taught for 13 years and then later moved to second grade. This year I am so excited to enter my fifth year
teaching ASI! I can't wait!
During my free time I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with my
family (especially with my son Brayden), reading, and shopping!
My favorite things:
Season: Summer
Item to Collect: anything with flip flops
Food: Pizza
Drink: Coffee and Iced Tea
Sweet Treats: Lighthouse Italian Ices
Fruit: Watermelon
Children’s Authors: Kevin Henkes
Subject to Teach: Language Arts
Animal: Dog
Color: Yellow
The mission for my class is for each student to learn and have fun while
doing it. I want every child to feel like they are part of a caring
classroom community. I am dedicated to making students feel proud, and have
a positive attitude about themselves and towards their classmates. Together
we can learn and do anything!
